Are your facilities mobility friendly?
Tjapukai offers car parking, entrance ramps, ambulant toilets and covered, concreted walkways suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

Is there free WIFI available?
Tjapukai has free WiFi available in the Cultural Centre building.
What are the ages for children?
Children’s rates apply for ages 4 – 14 years. Under 4 are free of charge.
What are the opening/trading hours?
Tjapukai by Day is open daily 9:00am to 5:00pm except Christmas Day. (Latest suggested arrival time is 2pm to see the afternoon schedule of shows) Night Fire by Tjapukai is open 7pm – 9.30pm daily except Christmas Day.
What does my day entry include?
The General Admission ticket price includes all our scheduled shows and interactive activities. We do offer two upgrade options - Cultural Creations (make three handmade souvenirs) and/or our Guided Indigenous Bush Food Trail. Retail gallery and food and beverage purchases are also an additional cost.
What does my night entry include?
Night Fire offers a complimentary drink on arrival, native inspired canapes, buffet of local produce with seafood and bush flavours and delicious desserts. Participate in the fire making ceremony, sacred corroboree and fireside gathering. Additional drinks and retail gallery purchases are at own expense.
What happens if it rains?
Most of the Tjapukai Shows and Activities are not affected by rain, we are an all weather venue. Night Fire schedule may change slightly in inclement weather.
What to wear?
Tjapukai By Day - Comfortable walking shoes, casual clothes, sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellent

Where is Tjapukai located?
Tjapukai is situated on the Cairns Western Arterial Rd, directly next door to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum.
